Job summary

NOCT in Panchgani is seeking a bright UX designer to step into a consumer's mind, channel a brand’s vision and turn ideas into polished interactive experiences. You will own end-to-end flows for enterprise or SaaS products, collaborating with PMs and engineers to drive product improvements.

We value a 4–6 year design background, a strong portfolio in HCI/UX, and proficiency with Figma, Sketch, InVision, Principle and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

The job requirements

4-6 years experience as a designer

A portfolio demonstrating work in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design or a related field of study (academic qualifications are secondary, we judge applications solely on the basis of design portfolios)

Working knowledge of design tools like Sketch, Figma, Invision, Principle and Adobe Creative Suite (you don't need to be a software pro, the tools can always be picked up while on the job :))

What you need to bring to the table

Proficiency in design tools like Figma, and the ability to create highly polished designs, iterate and prototype.

Ability to own end-to-end flows and champion for product improvements

Strong communication and collaboration skills, to be able to work with PMs, Engineering and other stakeholders.

Presenting ideas and thoughts in a coherent and cogent manner.

Knowledge and experience working on complex flows, enterprise or SaaS products. Experience with using Design systems and meeting Accessibility standards.

Video interview with a NOCT team member

If you’re through the first round, we’ll set up a video interview with you. You will be required to share your screen and walk us through some of your work.

In case we feel that we need a better understanding of your design skills after the interview, we’ll ask you to complete a short design exercise.

Group interview with the NOCT core team

You’ve come really far already! Now, all you need to do is show the NOCT core team that you are the best candidate for the role.
