Job summary

Candor Foods is seeking a CMA-qualified professional to lead costing and management accounting functions at our Navi Mumbai site.

You will prepare process cost sheets, analyze variances against standards, and drive cost control across production, procurement, stores and finance. The role requires robust Excel skills, ERP experience, and the ability to produce actionable management reports and insights to optimise profitability.

Qualifications

• CMA qualification is required.
• 25 years of relevant experience in Costing, Management Accounting, Manufacturing Finance or Plant Finance.
• Strong hands-on experience in product costing, process costing and standard vs actual cost analysis.
• Good understanding of variance analysis, cost control, production accounting and profitability analysis.
• Experience in analysing yield, breakage, wastage, labour cost, material consumption and production losses.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting; ERP/accounting systems experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Finance and Operations teams.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with an eye for cost leakages and abnormal variances.
• Ability to prepare and present management reports, costing statements and actionable insights.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, commercially aware and proactive in identifying cost-optimisation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Process Cost sheets monthly and analyze variances vs. standard.
• Discuss abnormal variances with concerned dept. head.
• Reconcile monthly cost with accounts statements.
• Prepare overall expense reports for the company.
• Prepare labour cost reports and maintain capital employed register.
• Generate employee-wise and article-wise activity reports and analyze.
• Participate in internal audits as required.
• Prepare other MIS reports as requested by Management.
• Monitor daily and monthly production.
• Track breakage/yield/repairs for cost control.
• Perform comparative analysis of product estimates vs. actual results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production cost.
• Assist management in cost control across manufacturing operations.
• Provide management with reports showing factors affecting price and profitability of products.

Role & responsibilities

• Preparing Process Cost sheet on every month & analysis the variance comparing actual with standard.
• Discuss the same with concern dept. head regarding abnormal variance.
• Reconcile the account statement with cost on every month.
• Prepared Overall Expenses report for the company as a whole.
• Preparing process labour as and when required.
• Maintaining capital employed register.
• Prepared Employee -wise & Article wise Activity report & analysis the same.
• Participate in Internal Audit as and when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: CMA qualification
• Experience: 25 years of relevant experience in Costing, Management Accounting, Manufacturing Finance or Plant Finance.
