Job description

Role & responsibilities

The person is responsible for setting up and maintenance of accurate process cost information, reconciliation of standard costs to actual costs, participating in the month end close and budgeting process and assisting the Finance Controller with day-to-day operations and reporting requirements.

This position will be responsible for developing/maintaining an effective cost accounting system to reduce cost and improve overall profitability. The position will be responsible to provide such action plans to support business especially partnering with Project Head, Operation Head and Finance Controller for key decision makings by provide prompt meaningful analysis.

Person will also manage and prepare key financial reports such as Cost Analysis, Standard Costing, Margin Analysis & Variance Analysis while ensuring controls are in place to safeguard the assets of company.

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:

1. Inter Cost Accountant (CWA/CMA) Institute of Cost Accountants of India or Inter Chartered Accountant (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.
2. 1-2 years of experience.

Must have skillset:

1. Knowledge of cost accounting principles, systems and procedures.
2. Ability to Multi-task with maintaining high degree/Quality of accuracy and quality in output.
3. Management of Work Order / Purchase Order / Contractual Agreement.
4. Ability to perform under stringent deadlines.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong financial, analytical, problem-solving skills and result oriented.
7. Good hands on MS office- Advance MS Excel, PowerPoint etc.
8. Strong interpersonal skill and time management and data management.
