Job summary

Best Engineering Aids & Consultancies is looking for a sales and business development professional for SOLIDWORKS CAD solutions in Chennai District. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building a sales pipeline, and converting prospects into customers. Strong communication and presentation skills, along with a diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering, are required. Experience in CAD/CAM is an added advantage. The focus is on achieving sales targets and maintaining customer relationships.

Qualifications

Job description

The role involves sales and business development of SOLIDWORKS CAD solutions within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building a strong sales pipeline, and converting prospects into customers.

The role requires close coordination with the Marketing and Technical Support teams to identify opportunities, conduct product presentations/demos, and drive customer engagement. The focus will be on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline – GT & TC / NTTF / CIPET)
• 2–5years of experience; exposure to CAD/CAM or technical sales will be an added advantage
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers across levels (user to decision-makers)
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM solutions, product positioning, and target industries
• Ability to identify customer needs, build value propositions, and support solution-based selling
• Good coordination skills to work closely with Technical Consultants for demos, proposals, and closures
• Ability to maintain structured documentation and follow up on leads and opportunities
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and motivated to build a career in technical sales
