Job summary

We are seeking a Business Development Engineer to join a dynamic sales team. The role focuses on software sales (CAD/CAE) and SolidWorks, with targets to expand the customer base.

A background in mechanical/electrical engineering or MBA in sales is preferred, along with 1–2 years of software sales experience and strong English communication. Willingness to travel in and around the Chennai area is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree, or MBA with sales experience.

Eligibility / Job Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering/MBA in Sales and Marketing or any graduate can also be considered with relevant sales experience in the same field.
• Must have good English proficiency for effective communication and writing skills.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years sales experience is must (Preferred in software selling).
• Highly self-motivated / Initiative / Aggressive in Sales with a good attitude.
• Passion to meet the customers / Ability to convince the customer, energetic and after sales oriented.
• Plan the sales schedule to complete the task successfully in order to achieve the target.
• Able to speak more local languages is an added advantage.
