Zyeta in Chennai is seeking a Construction Manager – MEP to lead on-site execution across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and ELV works on corporate fit-out projects. You will drive from drawing review through testing, commissioning and handover, coordinating with design teams and contractors.

The role demands strong MEP expertise, project scheduling, safety compliance, and meticulous handover documentation to ensure seamless building services integration.

Competenze

• 8–12 years of experience in MEP execution.
• Bachelor or Diploma in engineering with relevant emphasis.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting installation.

As Construction Manager – MEP, you will lead MEP execution across corporate workplace fit-out projects, covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and ELV systems. You will drive site execution from drawing review through testing, commissioning and handover, working closely with design, consultants and civil and interiors teams to ensure seamless integration of building services and finishes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead on-site execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and ELV works.
• Review MEP drawings, coordinate with design teams and consultants, and resolve technical clashes proactively.
• Plan and monitor MEP schedules, manpower deployment and material availability against project timelines.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, productivity, safety and timely delivery.
• Conduct quality inspections, oversee testing and commissioning, and close snags before handover.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8–12 years of experience in MEP execution, preferably in corporate office fit-outs, commercial interiors or commercial real estate projects.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting installation and commissioning.
• Proficiency in MEP drawings, BOQs, quantity measurements and contractor billing.
• Proven experience managing MEP contractors and subcontractors at active project sites.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera, and construction safety standards.
• Strong site coordination, problem-solving and project execution skills.
