Job summary

Zyeta is seeking a Construction Manager – MEP to lead the execution and supervision of MEP works for commercial interior fit-out projects across India. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on site experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ELV, and BMS systems, with strong coordination, planning, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in MEP execution for commercial interior fit-out or workplace projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Hands-on site experience with strong coordination and on-time delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise complete MEP execution at project sites.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and shop drawings before execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, PMs, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure execution per approved drawings, schedule and quality standards.
• Monitor HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting/Fire Alarm, ELV, and BMS installations.
• Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment deployment.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of MEP materials.
• Verify measurements and contractor bills.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily/weekly reports; ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag closure, and handover.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strong Construction Manager – MEPto lead the execution and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for commercial interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on site experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality standards.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Electrical LT distribution, lighting, UPS & DG synchronization.
• Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm systems.
• Plumbing & Drainage systems.
• ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Data & Voice).
• Building Management System (BMS).
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, and billing.
• Understanding of IS Codes, NBC, and relevant MEP standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project/Primavera) is an added advantage.
