Job summary

Single Window Consulting in India (Odisha) seeks a responsible Commercial Operations professional to oversee factory financials, including GRN, invoicing, MIS reporting, and cost control. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards while coordinating with HO production, logistics, stores, and vendors.

The role emphasizes timely month-end closures, vendor reconciliations, and maintaining strong internal controls across operations.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of book-keeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day commercial operations of the factory including goods receipt, GRN, invoicing and MIS.
• Focus on controlling variable and fixed costs of the factory inventory management.
• Submit MIS reports as per TAT and track vendor invoicing issues.
• Perform timely vendor reconciliations and monthly/year-end book closure checks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and HO Production, Logistics, Stores and Vendors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)

Responsible for day-to-day commercial operations of the Factory, such as Goods receipt/ GRN, service sheet, invoicing, MIS etc. Focus on Cost and Contribution.

Key Individual Accountabilities

Strategic

Provide insightful information/ analysis to senior management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

Financial

Focus and control on variable and fixed cost of the Factory Inventory Management

Customer/ External Orientation

Monitor Commercial operations of the Factory.

People Orientation

Ability to direct and supervise the team and build capability within the team. Work effectively with staff and site team.

Core operational accountabilities

Submission of MIS reports as per TAT. Tracking of exceptions of vendor Invoicing Timely Vendor Reconciliations Monthly Provision To ensure timely month and year end books closure.
