You will lead financial closing, budgeting, MIS reporting, ERP-driven stock management, contract evaluation, and audits. The role emphasises process standardisation, vendor efficiency, and digital transformation at the plant level.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly books closure, financial reporting, and MIS.
• Track actual plant performance against budgets and prior-year data.
• Prepare regular MIS and present reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with plant and HO teams to meet day-to-day operations.
• Oversee inventory of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, packing materials, and stores.
• Ensure ERP accuracy and conduct regular stock and weighbridge reconciliations.
• Ensure materials are dispatched as per timeline and invoices are processed.
• Monitor manufacturing costs and analyze variances for cost reduction.
• Evaluate commercial contracts and manage MRN/invoice validation.
• Maintain internal controls and GST compliance; support audits.
• Lead the plant commercial team and drive process standardisation.

Job Title: Commercial Manager

Location: Palwal, Ghilot & Gujarat

Role Overview

Primary Purpose: Ensure day to day plant operation activity, cost-effective and statutory compliance.

Key Focus Areas: Plant controlling, inventory management, cost accounting, and statutory compliance.

Core Responsibilities

Financial Controlling & Reporting

• Lead monthly books closure, financial reporting, and Management Information System (MIS)
• Track actual plant performance against approved budgets and prior-year data.
• Prepare regular MIS and present the reports to the senior management.
• Coordinate with both plant and HO team in order to meet day to day operations.

Inventory & Stock Governance

• Oversee inventory of raw materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), finished goods, packing materials, and Maintenance, Repair, and other store items.
• Ensure that inventory is properly managed in ERP system.
• Conduct regular physical verification of inventory to ensure that same is in order.
• Ensure ERP accuracy and conduct regular stock and weighbridge reconciliations.

Sale of Goods

• Ensure that materials are dispatched as per the stipulated timeline.
• All the documents in relation to dispatch are in order.
• Sale invoices are raised well in time.

Cost Management & Analysis

• Monitor variable and fixed manufacturing costs.
• Analyze production and cost variances to provide actionable insights for operational cost reduction.

Commercial Governance & Contracts

• Evaluate commercial contracts and scrap management.
• Manage Day to day goods receipt, their MRN and validation of invoices along with respective supporting documents.

Compliance & Audits

• Maintain strict internal controls, statutory tax compliances and Goods and Services Tax (GST) adherence
• Lead the plant team through internal and external audit query closures.

Team Management

• Lead the plant commercial team and drive process standardisation
• Implement best practices in cost control, vendor efficiency and work flow automation
• Support digital transformation and ERP related activities at the plant level.
