Job summary

Fixotec Pipe Supports Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator with hands-on sheet-metal fabrication skills. You will operate and set up a 110-ton CNC press brake, read drawings, select tooling, and ensure conformity to dimensions and tolerances.

You will inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, maintain records, and uphold 5S and safety standards on a dynamic shop floor with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Sheet Metal, or related trade preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in CNC Press Brake operation and sheet-metal fabrication.
• Hands-on experience with 110-ton CNC Press Brake or similar machines.
• Good knowledge of sheet-metal bending processes and tooling.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of CNC controls and machine parameter setting.
• Good measurement and inspection skills.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up a 110-ton CNC Press Brake for sheet-metal bending operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, bending layouts, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Select appropriate punches, dies, and tooling based on material type and thickness.
• Set machine parameters including bend angle, back gauge, stroke, and bending sequence.
• Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary adjustments to achieve required dimensions.
• Handle and position sheet-metal components accurately during bending operations.
• Ensure consistent production quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges for inspection.
• Identify and report tooling, machine, and quality-related issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain production and inspection records as required.
• Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure optimum machine utilization.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S standards.
