Job summary

Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers Pvt Ltd in Coimbatore is seeking an experienced CNC Operator – Turning Centre to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and set up CNC turning centres, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.

The role requires 2–5 years hands-on CNC turning experience, ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, and knowledge of G-code with basic program edits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on CNC turning experience.
• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Production.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of turning operations and machining parameters.
• Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC programs.
• Familiar with Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning centres per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
• Load CNC programs and perform minor edits when required.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and machining parameters.
• Set tool offsets and work offsets to achieve required dimensions.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and product quality.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain workplace cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the production team to achieve daily production targets.
