Job summary

Autoprint India in Coimbatore invites an experienced CNC Operator – Turning Centre to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC turning centres according to job requirements, read engineering drawings and interpret blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of hands-on CNC turning experience, ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or related trade, knowledge of G-code, cutting tools, and measurement with vernier calipers, micrometers and bore

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related trade is required.
• Hands-on experience in CNC turning centre operations.
• Knowledge of G-code and basic CNC programming helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning centre machines as per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Load CNC programs and perform minor program edits when required.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and machining parameters.
• Set tool offsets and work offsets to achieve the required dimensions.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and product quality.
• Coordinate with the production team to achieve daily production targets.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Operator – Turning Centre to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating and setting up CNC turning centres, with a good understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning centre machines as per job requirements.
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
  
• Load CNC programs and perform minor program edits when required.
  
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and machining parameters.
  
• Set tool offsets and work offsets to achieve the required dimensions.

• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain workplace cleanliness.
