Job summary

Autoprint in Coimbatore is seeking an experienced CNC Operator – Turning Centre to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and set up CNC turning centres, read engineering drawings, and ensure quality and efficiency on daily production.

The role requires 2–5 years' hands-on CNC turning experience, ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Production, and familiarity with G-code, cutting tools, and precision measurement with Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Production or related trade.
• 2–5 years of CNC turning centre experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Know turning operations, tools and machining parameters.
• Understand G-code and program adjustments.
• Familiar with measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning centre machines per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Load CNC programs and perform minor edits when required.
• Select cutting tools, tool holders and machining parameters.
• Set tool and work offsets to achieve required dimensions.
• Inspect finished components with precision instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning centre machines as per job requirements.
