Job summary

TekWissen Group invites an experienced CMDB Advisor to join our client’s team delivering CMDB governance, service mapping and CI relationship enhancements. The role emphasizes discovery, data quality and integration efforts within ServiceNow, across multiple locations in India.

Hybrid work arrangement is offered for this full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate has extensive CMDB experience, strong scripting skills and a solid understanding of CI lifecycles, to support ongoing ITSM

Qualifications

• 8+ years of CMDB/ITSM experience.
• Strong CMDB concepts including discovery, service graph connectors and integrations.
• ServiceNow CMDB service mapping and CI relationship expertise.
• Knowledge of CI classes and hierarchy, IRE, CMDB data modeling and schema design.
• CI lifecycle management, CMDB health, data normalization and deduplication.
• ServiceNow scripting capabilities (JavaScript, business rules, fix scripts, integrations).

Responsibilities

• Implement CMDB design, mappings and governance on ServiceNow.
• Maintain CMDB health, congruence and data quality through normalization and deduplication.
• Develop and optimize CI relationships, service mapping and integration with external tools.

Job Description:

• 8+ yrs of experience
• Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) concepts, including Discovery, Service Graph Connectors and Integrations
• ServiceNow CMDB Service Mapping and Configuration Item Relationship expertise
• Knowledge of CI (Configuration Item) classes and hierarchyExperience with Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)CMDB data modeling and schema design
• CI lifecycle management
• CMDB Health (completeness, correctness, compliance)
• Data normalization and deduplication
• ServiceNow-related scripting capabilities (ie: javascript, business rules, fix scripts, integrations, etc.)
