Job summary

SkillLabs is seeking an experienced Training Manager for the banking sector in Lucknow. The role focuses on leading multi-branch training for Banca channels, onboarding new hires, and ensuring compliance with IRDAI guidelines.

You will develop programs tied to product launches and business needs, coaching managers and sales teams to improve performance. Ideal candidates have 10–12 years in branch management within banking, with strong skills in training design, field delivery, and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of overall experience in branch managerial role within banking.
• Experience in conducting product, process, sales, and compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Lead training initiatives across branches/clusters for the Banca channel.
• Conduct training for bank relationship managers and insurance sales teams.
• Develop training programs based on business needs and product launches.
• Train teams on life insurance products, policy features, underwriting, and sales processes.
• Conduct induction and onboarding training for new employees.
• Provide training on Banca sales techniques, lead generation, cross-selling, and conversion.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and regional heads to identify training needs.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and performance metrics.
• Conduct refresher training and coaching for underperformers.
• Ensure updates on IRDAI guidelines and regulatory changes.
• Prepare training calendars, MIS reports, and attendance records.
• Support branches during new product launches and campaigns.
• Use role plays, case studies, and practical exercises to improve outcomes.
• Field visits to observe sales performance and provide on-the-job coaching.
• Coordinate with central/L&D to implement standardized training across clusters.
• Track KPIs like training completion, productivity, activation, conversion, and persistency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and lead training initiatives across multiple branches/clusters for the Banca channel.
• Conduct product, process, sales, and compliance training for bank relationship managers and insurance sales teams.
• Develop training programs based on business requirements, performance gaps, and new product launches.
• Train teams on life insurance products, policy features, benefits, underwriting, and sales processes.
• Conduct induction and onboarding training for new employees.
• Provide training on Banca sales techniques, customer handling, lead generation, cross-selling, and conversion.
• Work closely with Branch Managers, Cluster Heads, Regional Heads, and Bank RMs to identify training needs.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, productivity, and business performance.
• Conduct refresher training and coaching sessions for underperforming employees.
• Ensure teams are updated on IRDAI guidelines, compliance requirements, company policies, and regulatory changes.
• Prepare and maintain training calendars, MIS reports, attendance records, and training effectiveness reports.
• Support branches during new product launches, campaigns, and business drives.
• Use role plays, case studies, presentations, and practical sales exercises to improve learning outcomes.
• Conduct field/branch visits to observe sales performance and provide on-the-job coaching.
• Coordinate with the central/L&D team to implement standardized training programs across the cluster.
• Track key training KPIs such as training completion, productivity, activation, conversion, persistency, and business performance.

Essential Requirement

• Minimum 10 to 12 Years of overall experience in Branch Managerial Role in the Banking Industry.
