Job summary

Sunteck Realty in Mumbai seeks a procurement professional to manage the purchase of machinery, spares and consumables for plant operations across welding, packaging, fabrication, galvanizing, maintenance and quality.

You will own the ordering cycle, negotiate terms, prepare cost comparisons and audit-ready documentation; develop alternate vendors and build a strong local supplier base in Gujarat; set up and renew annual rate contracts; and coordinate with maintenance, stores and finance on GRN,

Responsibilities

• Procure machinery, spares and consumables for plant operations across welding, packaging, fabrication, galvanizing, maintenance and quality
• Own the ordering cycle negotiate terms, prepare cost comparisons, and recommend sourcing with audit-ready documentation
• Develop alternative vendors and materials for cost advantage on a CTO basis, and build a strong local vendor base in Gujarat
• Set up and renew annual rate contracts for critical and repeat items
• Coordinate with maintenance on parts availability, and with stores and finance on GRN, invoicing, GST compliance, payments and reconciliation
• Track open PRs and POs and drive timely delivery
• Analyse supply patterns, identify causes of delay, and benchmark vendor performance
• Generate payment reports, DPRs and compliance reporting as required
