Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Cluster Construction Manager - Solar to lead PMC monitoring for utility-scale solar projects. The role focuses on coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, tracking progress across clusters, and ensuring timely civil, mechanical, electrical, and grid integration activities.

The candidate should have 10–15 years in infrastructure construction, with 5+ years managing large-scale solar projects (500 MW+).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil/Construction Management or related.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• 10–15 years of infrastructure construction experience, with 5+ years in large-scale solar projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate construction activities across assigned solar project clusters.
• Oversee civil works, piling, foundations, MMS/tracker installation, module erection, DC/AC systems, BoP, SCADA, and grid interconnection activities.
• Review construction progress, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, productivity, and workfront readiness.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, engineering teams, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and client stakeholders.
• Track project constraints, risks, punch points, and handover readiness.
• Escalate safety, quality, material, design, and interface issues to project leadership.
• Ensure smooth execution from civil release through electrical completion and commissioning readiness.
