Overview

The role will be responsible for taking care of the parent organization and its project’s day-to-day planning and execution of construction activities for underdevelopment Solar/Wind Projects, along with managing communications with EPC Contractor and Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site and construction activity and drive the project, contractor and consultant and other related agencies for execution.
• Monitor projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, resource deployment, utilization, time overruns to ensure timely execution of projects.
• Conduct regular reviews to ensure accountability of all project activities as well as the accurate and timely reporting of financial deliverables and obligations.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate all risks which could impact project deliveries within predetermined time and cost.
• Devise project plans encompassing technical, operational, and managerial aspects for successful implementation of projects.

Required Qualifications

• 8 - 12 years working experience in site construction with Civil /Mechanical degree
• Understanding and exposure of local laws and regulations in a project-based setup
• Well-versed in Liaisoning with Government, Statutory Authorities and local community
• Good Verbal & Written communication skills, knowledge of local language is preferred. Preferred areas of exposure:
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
• Proven experience as Construction Manager.
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ERP.
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
