Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Role- Team Lead (Solar PMC) to lead the Solar EPC PMC package for large-scale projects in India. You will serve as the primary interface between the Client, EPC Contractors, OEMs, and PMC teams, ensuring successful delivery from scope through commissioning.

The role requires extensive Renewable Energy experience, especially Solar PV, with a track record on utility-scale projects and strong coordination across engineering, construction and testing activities.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Master's Degree or PMP certification preferred.
• 15+ years of Solar PV, BESS, EPC, or PMC experience.
• Experience on Utility-Scale Solar Projects (250 MW+).
• Strong knowledge of Solar Parks, Pooling Substations, Power Evacuation, Grid Integration, and Commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage Solar PMC disciplines and construction management resources.
• Review EPC readiness, construction sequencing, resources, and execution plans.
• Monitor project progress, risks, quality, safety, and commissioning readiness.
• Coordinate testing, energization, grid integration, and HOTO activities.
• Drive closure of constraints and punch points impacting project milestones.
• Prepare package status reports, escalation registers, and readiness recommendations.

• Experience on Utility-Scale Solar Projects (250 MW+).


• Strong knowledge of Solar Parks, Pooling Substations, Power Evacuation, Grid Integration, and Commissioning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on 500 MW to 1 GW+ Solar Projects.


• Solar + BESS project experience.


• Experience managing multiple EPC contractors and stakeholder interfaces.
