Job summary

Soho House & Co in Mumbai is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet guests and members, handle restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, and manage general inquiries. You will be well-versed in all club areas, including menus, events, and daily operations.

You will maintain a clean reception area, assist with guest lists, and report issues to management while sustaining a fun, energetic atmosphere and adhering to hotel policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests and members
• Receive calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, inquiries, and deliveries
• Answer main line and direct calls appropriately
• Be knowledgeable about all club areas, menus, and daily events
• Keep the reception area, desk, and coat check clean
• Assist with guest list duties on the floor or rooftop
• Report issues to the Manager and maintain a fun, energetic attitude
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies

What We Are Looking For

We are primarily looking for someone who is used to working in hospitality as the position requires understanding of how operations work. You are good with people and have a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.

You are also comfortable with systems and administrative tasks and with managing a little team and keep them motivated.

The role...

• Greet and welcome all guests and members warmly at all times.
• Receive calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries, messages for members and from employees; among other inquiries.
• Responsible to answer the main line and sending calls in the right direction as needed.
• Be well versed on all aspects of the Club, including all menus, and daily events.
• Receptionists must keep the reception area, desk, and coat check clean at all times.
• Take IRD orders.
• Knowledge of IRD menus.
• Perform Guest List duties on the floor level or Rooftop.
• Assist with any guest related issues.
• Converse with members and report any potential issues to their Manager.
• Maintain a fun and energetic attitude at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Comply with all hotel policies, standards and local laws.
