Job summary

Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel in Mumbai is seeking a friendly front desk associate to assist guests with check-in/check-out, handle cashiering duties, and extend a warm welcome. You will review arrival lists, prepare compendiums, and check guests into the system while maintaining guest privacy and accuracy.

Responsibilities include registering guests, issuing keys, updating repeat guest histories, promoting hotel facilities, and ensuring VIPs receive special recognition.

Qualifications

• A Diploma holder or a Graduate from Hotel Management institute.
• A pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Work experience of a lifestyle luxury brand.
• Passionate about creating memories for the guests.

• Update and maintain repeat guest history system.
• Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities according to departmental standards to maximize revenue.
• Be vigilant with in-house credit matters and alert Security or Duty Manager of suspicious activities.

Job Description

What will you be doing

• Assist guests with check in and checkout, as well as other cashiering duties
• Review arrival lists and prepare compendiums prior to guests’ arrival and check-into system if necessary
• Welcome and interact with the guests on arrival, register and issue room keys according to departmental standards and procedures
• Ensure that members consistently receive all benefits, and repeat guests and other VIP’s receive special recognition and service. Prepare and send welcome cards and amenities to room prior to guest arrival
• Update and maintain repeat guest history system
• Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities according to departmental standards to maximize revenue
• Handling guests’ mails, messages, and answering of phone calls
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed
• Be vigilant in regard to in-house credit matters and act upon any discrepancies
• Alert Security or Duty Manager of suspicious looking person(s) / articles
• Have knowledge about the hotel facilities , F&B outlets, timings and other features
• Be aware about the Hotel and its every outlet's story and be a story teller to the guest.
• Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
