Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Ensure work adheres to approved drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site workers.
• Monitor manpower and material requirements at the site.
• Check material quality and workmanship.
• Take site measurements and assist in quantity calculations.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, measurement sheets, and material requirements.
• Report progress to Senior Engineer/Project Manager and address issues promptly.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Civil Site Engineer to assist in supervising and executing day‑to‑day construction activities at residential apartment project sites. The candidate should have good knowledge of basic civil construction practices and be willing to take ownership of site activities under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site workers.
• Monitor manpower and material requirements at the site.
• Check the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Take site measurements and assist in quantity calculations.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, measurement sheets, and material requirements.
• Monitor daily work progress and report updates to the Senior Engineer / Project Manager.
• Identify basic site issues and coordinate with seniors for timely resolution.
• Maintain daily site records, checklists, and progress reports.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to site safety practices.
• Monitor material usage and help minimize material wastage.

Qualification & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil construction, preferably residential/apartment projects.
• Basic knowledge of RCC and finishing works.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at construction sites and learn project execution.
• Good observation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
