Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 35 years of experience in residential building construction.
• Experience in multi-storey residential apartment projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects and vendors.
• Inspect workmanship and ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
• Maintain daily site progress reports, labour attendance and project documentation.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.

Job Summary

The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and vendors for smooth site execution.
• Inspect workmanship and ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
• Monitor material consumption and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Verify measurements, work progress, and contractor bills as per executed work.
• Identify site issues and coordinate timely corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain daily site progress reports, labour attendance, and project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and management.
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of RCC construction, finishing works, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction standards.
• Familiarity with construction materials and site execution practices.
• Good understanding of project planning and site coordination.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage contractors and labour efficiently.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and project documentation.
• Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and billing is an added advantage.
