The role includes supervision, quality control, planning, and coordination with contractors and consultants. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience, a Civil Engineering degree or diploma, and strong knowledge of RCC, structural works, waterproofing, and reading drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage civil construction activities for commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, planning, coordination with contractors and consultants, and ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and according to approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at commercial project sites.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, vendors, and project management teams.
• Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within the planned schedule.
• Check quantities, measurements, material requirements, and contractor bills.
• Conduct quality inspections for concrete, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and other civil works.
• Ensure proper utilization and storage of construction materials.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Identify construction issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements at the site.
• Assist in planning manpower, materials, equipment, and resources.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, snagging, and handover activities.
• Support estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and quantity surveying as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of RCC, structural works, finishing works, waterproofing, and building construction practices.
• Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of construction quality standards and site safety practices.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively under project deadlines.
