Job summary

New Bharat Infraservices Pvt Ltd is seeking a Civil Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at the project site in Delhi. You will allocate labour, supervise RCC/shuttering/reinforcement/concreting, ensure drawings are followed and coordinate with engineers, contractors and subcontractors.

The role requires Diploma in Civil Engineering and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of site measurements, materials handling and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 510 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Allocate work to labour and ensure proper manpower utilization.
• Supervise RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry and finishing works.
• Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings and site instructions.
• Check line, level, alignment and dimensions of executed work.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Site Engineers, Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Monitor daily work progress and ensure activities are completed as per schedule.
• Arrange and monitor required materials, tools, equipment and manpower at site.
• Check quality of workmanship and ensure proper construction practices.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the Engineer for timely resolution.
• Maintain daily labour attendance, work records and site progress details.
• Assist in quantity measurement and verification of completed work.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and utilization of construction materials.
• Follow and enforce site safety rules and safe working practices.
• Monitor housekeeping and maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Coordinate with different teams to avoid delays and maintain smooth site operations.
• Assist in snag rectification, finishing works and final project handover.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 510 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision.
• Strong hands-on experience in RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry and finishing works.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site execution and manpower management.
• Ability to read and understand basic civil, structural and architectural drawings.
• Experienced in handling and allocating work to labour and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of line, level, alignment and basic site measurements.
• Ability to monitor daily work progress and maintain site records.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment and their proper utilization.
• Strong coordination skills with Site Engineers, Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Basic knowledge of quality standards and site safety practices.
• Experience in building, infrastructure or EPC projects will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in CPWD, PWD, DMRC, NBCC or other government/PSU projects will be preferred.
• Willing to work at project sites and relocate/travel as per project requirements.
