Job summary

TAK Technologies seeks an experienced Civil Engineering professional to lead client-side supervision and site execution. You will oversee civil activities, review drawings and bills, and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to meet quality, cost, and timeline targets.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ, and billing, plus leadership and problem-solving skills for large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 5-10 years of relevant civil construction/project execution experience.
• Experience in client-side project supervision and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor overall civil construction activities per drawings, specs, and schedule.
• Supervise and guide Civil Engineers, site teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with standards.
• Review RA Bills, measurements, BOQ quantities, and variation claims.
• Review drawings, method statements, submissions, and resolve site issues.
• Track progress, identify delays, and coordinate for timely completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, MEP, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare progress reports and support PM in achieving quality, cost, schedule, and safety targets.

Role & responsibilities:

1. Manage and monitor overall civil construction activities from the client side as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

Supervise and guide Civil Engineers, site teams, contractors, and subcontractors.

2. Monitor quality of civil works and ensure compliance with project specifications and approved standards.

3. Review and verify contractor R.A. Bills, measurements, BOQ quantities, and variation claims.

4. Review drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and resolve site-related technical issues.

5. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and coordinate with contractors for timely completion.

6. Coordinate with consultants, MEP, architects, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.

7. Prepare progress reports and support the Project Manager in achieving project quality, cost, schedule, and safety targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Preferably 5-10 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project execution, with substantial experience in client-side project supervision and management.
• Proven experience in managing and monitoring overall civil construction activities at project sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, BOQ, quantity estimation, measurements, and billing.
• Hands-on experience in reviewing and verifying R.A. Bills, contractor bills, variation claims, and work measurements.
• Good understanding of quality control, construction standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Experience in coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, MEP teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to supervise and guide Civil Engineers and site execution teams.
• Strong capability in project planning, progress monitoring, delay identification, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Ability to review drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and independently resolve site-related technical issues.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Excel, and other relevant project management tools will be preferred.
• Good understanding of cost control, project scheduling, quality management, and construction safety.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Candidates having experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, institutional, infrastructure, or government projects would be preferred.
