Qualifications

• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Perform structural calculations and ensure design compliance with safety codes
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material take-offs
• Supervise on-site labor and subcontractors to ensure quality control
• Manage project schedules and report on progress/delays
• Conduct soil testing and geotechnical assessments as needed
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations
• Liaise with government authorities for approvals and inspections
• Troubleshoot on-site engineering issues and propose solutions
