Job summary

PES Engineers Pvt. Ltd. in Gurgaon/Delhi NCR seeks an experienced Civil Design Engineer / Civil Designer for its in-house team.

The role focuses on civil and structural design, engineering review, and multidisciplinary coordination for thermal power and large industrial EPC projects, including BoP, AHP, CHP, coal gasification and related systems. Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Civil Engineering; ME/MTech in Structural Engineering is an added advantage.
• Substantial engineering-office design experience; profiles focused on site execution may not be suitable.
• Experience with thermal power and large industrial EPC projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute civil & structural design for thermal power/industrial EPC packages.
• Design and review RCC and structural steel structures, equipment foundations, buildings and technological structures.
• Design foundations for heavy equipment, conveyors, transfer towers, crushers, silos, tanks, pumps and compressors.
• Prepare/review design calculations, structural analysis models, GA drawings, foundation layouts, reinforcement drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Review vendor drawings and incorporate equipment loads, dynamic loads, openings and inserts into civil designs.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, C&I, Piping and Process disciplines.
• Review and guide civil designers/draughtsmen.
• Coordinate with clients/consultants for design reviews, approvals and technical queries.
• Provide engineering support to procurement and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, client specifications and project design criteria.

PES Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer / Civil Designer for its in-house engineering team at Gurgaon / Delhi NCR.

The candidate will be responsible for civil and structural design, engineering review and multidisciplinary coordination for thermal power and large industrial EPC projects, including BoP, Ash Handling Plant (AHP), Coal Handling Plant (CHP), coal gasification and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute civil & structural design for thermal power/industrial EPC packages.
• Design and review RCC and structural steel structures, equipment foundations, buildings and technological structures.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in civil & structural design for thermal power, industrial plants or major EPC projects.
• Expertise in RCC, structural steel, equipment foundations and industrial structures.
• Knowledge of static & dynamic equipment foundations and industrial load combinations.
• AHP/CHP/material handling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro or relevant structural design software.
• Good knowledge of IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893 and applicable standards.
• Experience with NTPC/PSU/large utility specifications will be an advantage.

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.

Important: Candidates should have substantial engineering-office design experience. Profiles primarily focused on site execution will not be suitable.
