Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) invites senior Civil/Structural engineers to contribute to the analysis and design of heavy industrial steel structures for plants and mines, including SMS, converters, slabs, furnaces, bunkers and material handling facilities. You will work on RCC foundations and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on EPC projects in India.

Candidates should hold MTech/BE/BTech/Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering and possess 3–20 years of relevant experience, with exposure to

• Minimum qualifications include Full-time MTech/BE/BTech/Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
• 3-20 years of experience in Civil & Structural Design Engineering in Industrial Projects.
• Experience in engineering consultancy, design centres, or EPC organizations will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Experience in analysis and design of heavy industrial steel structures for plants, mines, and related facilities.
• Conversant in analysis and design of RCC structures and foundations for steel plants.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams; awareness of Indian/International codes; knowledge of advanced analysis software like ANSYS, Nastran is advantageous.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Should have experience in analysis and design of Heavy Industrial Steel structures for Steel Plants, Beneficiation Plants, Mines, e.g. SMS, Converter Shops, Slab Casters, Blast Furnaces, Cast Houses, Stock Houses, Storage Bunkers, Indurating & Pelletizing Buildings, Chimneys, Material Handling structures, etc.
• Should be conversant in analysis and design of RCC structures and foundations for Steel Plants, Beneficiation Plants, Mines e.g.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering & construction teams.
• Should be aware of Indian / International codes of practice and should have knowledge of advanced analysis software like ANSYS, Nastran, which will be an added advantage.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
