Job summary

FirstClub seeks a City Operations Head for Hyderabad to own end-to-end supply chain and fulfilment performance. You will lead ClubHouses, last-mile delivery and the teams behind them to ensure orders reach customers quickly, fresh and intact.

This is a high-ownership leadership role focused on today’s operations and scaling Hyderabad for the next growth phase. You will hire and develop ClubHouse managers and frontline teams, oversee 3PLs and vendors, and use data to drive continuous improvements

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years in supply chain or operations in quick commerce, e-commerce or grocery retail.
• Proven track record of running high-volume fulfillment with strong service levels and cost outcomes.
• Hands-on understanding of fresh, perishable and cold-chain handling.
• Experience leading large frontline teams and multi-layered management structures.
• Strong analytical skills with dashboards and operational metrics.
• Experience in rapid network expansion or new-site launches is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Hyderabad's market, talent and vendor landscape is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or PGDM in Operations / Supply Chain is a plus.

About the Role:

As City Operations Head Hyderabad, you will own the end-to-end supply chain and fulfilment performance for the city. You will lead our ClubHouses (fulfillment centres), last-mile delivery and the teams behind them, ensuring every order reaches the customer fast, fresh and intact. This is a high-ownership leadership role: you will run today's operations and build the foundation to scale Hyderabad for the next phase of growth.

What You Will Do:

• Own city performance: Be accountable for Hyderabad's service levels, delivery speed, fulfilment cost and operating efficiency against targets.
• Run ClubHouse operations: Lead inbound, storage, picking, packing and dispatch across all ClubHouses, with strong process discipline and daily operating rhythm.
• Protect quality and freshness: Enforce rigorous quality grading, cold-chain integrity and handling standards, especially for fresh produce and dairy.
• Drive last-mile excellence: Manage rider fleet capacity, partners and routing to hit the under-30-minute promise, including during peak and weather-driven demand.
• Manage inventory health: Work with Category and Planning teams to improve availability, reduce wastage and shrinkage, and keep stock accurate.
• Scale the network: Plan and launch new ClubHouses and capacity expansion in Hyderabad, from site readiness to ramp-up.
• Lead and develop people: Hire, coach and retain ClubHouse managers, shift leads and frontline teams; build a culture of ownership, safety and accountability.
• Manage partners and vendors: Oversee 3PLs, manpower and facility vendors, contracts and performance.
• Use data to decide: Track dashboards and metrics, run root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance and safety: Maintain statutory, food-safety and workplace-safety standards across all sites.
• Collaborate across teams: Partner closely with Category, Tech, Customer Support, HR and Finance to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.

What We Are Looking For:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in supply chain or operations in quick commerce, e-commerce or grocery retail.
• Proven track record of running high-volume fulfillment, dark store or warehouse operations with strong service-level and cost outcomes.
• Hands-on understanding of fresh, perishable and cold-chain handling.
• Experience leading large frontline teams and multi-layered management structures.
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable with dashboards, P&L levers and operational metrics.
• Experience in rapid network expansion or new-site launches is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Hyderabad's market, talent and vendor landscape is preferred.
