Job summary

Burgundy Hospitality in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced Operations Leader to set and oversee processes for luxury food & beverage and retail/store operations in a high-growth environment.

You will drive sales across retail, online, delivery, and corporate channels, manage inventory, audits, and vendor relationships, and lead store teams across multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years leading multi-location hospitality teams.
  • Strong command of English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects independently.
  • Excellent relationship-building with vendors and partners.
  • Hospitality background in luxury/F&B preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and overseeing processes for luxury food & beverage and retail/store operations in a high-growth environment.
  • Drive sales performance across retail, online, delivery, and bulk/corporate orders.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of customer experience across all stores.
  • Oversee inventory planning, stock replenishment, and product quality compliance.
  • Regular store audits and ensuring adherence to operational standards.
  • Lead, train, and manage store teams; oversee rostering, performance, and development.
  • Liaise with mall partners, vendors, and logistics providers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on sales reporting, visual merchandising, and business reviews.
  • Project managing new store openings, including liaising with vendors and real estate partners, recruiting and training.
  • Maintain and manage company assets including furniture, fittings, hardware, POS and vendor relationships.
  • Managing inventory levels across all stores and regional warehouse with stock replenishments and shelf-life control.
  • Support store staff in operations as needed.
  • Build best practices and SOPs for scalable new stores.
  • Manage eCommerce order fulfilment across brand digital properties.
  • Drive in-store customer experience and visual merchandising; uphold brand service standards.

Job description

Role & responsibilities
  • Setting and overseeing processes for luxury food and beverage and retail/store operations, especially in a high-growth environment.
  • Drive sales performance across retail, online, delivery, and bulk / corporate order channels
  • Maintain consistently high standards of customer experience across all stores
  • Oversee inventory planning, stock replenishment, and product quality compliance
  • regular store audits and ensure adherence to operational standards
  • Lead, train, and manage store teams; oversee rostering, performance, and development
  • Liaise with mall partners, vendors, and logistics providers
  • Collaborate with internal teams on sales reporting, visual merchandising, and business reviews
  • Project managing new store openings, including liaising with vendors, real estate partners, statutory authorities, recruiting and training.
  • Maintaining and managing company assets and resources including- furniture, fittings, hardware, POS and relevant vendor relationships.
  • Managing inventory levels across all stores and the regional warehouse via timely stock replenishments and requisitions along with a strict control over product shelf-life management
  • Supporting store staff (on a need basis) in operations.
  • Building best practices and SOPs so that new stores can be opened and scaled effectively
  • Managing the fulfilment of eCommerce orders through the multiple digital properties of the brand.
  • Driving in-store customer experience, maintaining and building in-store visual merchandising
  • Maintaining and enhancing customer service across all channels of sales as per brand mandates.
Preferred candidate profile
  • At least 7 years of experience in building and managing teams across multiple locations
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to multitask and work independently on projects
  • Good relationship-building capability
  • Hospitality background preferred
  • Outstanding knowledge of fine foods and service Demonstrates problem-solving ability
