Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual store sales targets.
  • Drive business growth through walk-in customers, architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and project sales.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, quotations, and pending orders.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Manage day-to-day showroom operations efficiently.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, warehouse, logistics, accounts, and customer service teams.
  • Monitor inventory availability and coordinate stock replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, customer records, and operational documentation.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise the showroom sales team.
  • Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor team performance.
  • Conduct regular coaching, product training, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive and customer-centric work environment.
  • Ensure achievement of both individual and team sales KPIs.
  • Handle premium and high-value customers professionally.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining high service standards.
  • Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and project consultants.
  • Conduct site visits whenever required to understand customer or project requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project clients for product selection and execution.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment and project coordination from inquiry to delivery.
  • Maintain showroom aesthetics and visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure product displays are attractive, updated, and customer-friendly.
  • Coordinate with the VM team for seasonal displays and promotional activities.
  • Monitor showroom presentation to enhance customer engagement.
  • Monitor store KPIs including sales conversion, average billing value, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports and present business updates to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance store performance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Good exposure to architect, builder, and contractor coordination.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and sales processes.
  • Ability to achieve business targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
