Job summary

Amor Management Consultants - India’s Premiere Auto Talent Hiring Specialists seeks a seasoned strategic leader to define a 5-year roadmap for 3X growth in the automotive components sector. The role will drive expansion across divisions, strengthen OEM relationships, and explore M&A opportunities to scale domestically and for export markets.

You will lead governance, financial strategy, and enterprise-wide transformation, preparing the company for public market readiness and a robust IPO

Qualifications

  • 20–30 years of experience in automotive components / manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5 years in a top leadership role (CEO / MD / COO / Business Head).
  • Proven multi-plant P&L ownership with strong EBITDA and cash flow management.
  • Proven success in scaling operations and driving profitable growth.
  • Hands-on experience in leading and delivering 3X business growth in a structured and sustainable manner.
  • Experience leading greenfield / brownfield projects.
  • Strong business finance acumen (P&L, ROI modelling, working capital, capital allocation).
  • Expertise in operational excellence (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, TOC).
  • Strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, and vendor development experience.
  • Exposure to digital transformation / Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Strong OEM relationship management and domestic market exposure.
  • Proven track record in cost optimization and process harmonisation across plants.
  • Experience leading business transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Governance-oriented mindset with Board reporting experience.
  • Exposure to IPO readiness and compliance alignment with SEBI regulations (preferred).
  • Strong leadership capability with focus on succession planning and capability building.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a 5-year strategic roadmap aligned to 3X growth ambition.
  • Drive expansion across divisions (Electro Mechanical products).

  • Establish governance aligned with SEBI and public market standards.
  • Strengthen internal controls, audits, and compliance mechanisms.
  • Ensure a transparent financial track record for three consecutive years prior to IPO.
  • Strengthen Board structure with independent directors and board committees.
  • Institutionalize enterprise-wide risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead engagement with investment bankers, auditors, legal advisors, and other intermediaries.
  • Develop investor communication strategy and IPO readiness milestones.
  • Lead procurement, supply chain optimization, and vendor development.
  • Oversee major capital investments and supplier negotiations.
  • Lead strategic relationship building with OEM customers and expand domestic footprint.
  • Align engineering and sales for customized solutions.
  • Drive enterprise transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture and workforce planning.
  • Plan IT infrastructure upgrades and ERP strengthening; oversee digital investments.

Job description

Roles and Responsibility:
  • Define and execute a 5-year strategic roadmap aligned to 3X growth ambition.
  • Drive expansion across divisions (Electro Mechanical products).
  • Strengthen OEM / Tier 1 relationships and increase share of business in domestic markets and also export markets
  • Identify new geographies, product diversification, and technology partnerships.
  • Evaluate M&A / JV opportunities aligned with scale and valuation goals.
  • Build a strong equity story in preparation for IPO.
  • Leverage the company’s strong financial foundation as a cash-rich organization with consistent double-digit positive EBITDA to strategically position the business for sustainable growth and public market readiness.
  • Build and institutionalize a governance framework aligned with
  • Securities and Exchange Board of India regulations and public market standards.
  • Establish robust internal financial controls, audit systems, and compliance mechanisms.
  • Ensure a clean, transparent, and compliant financial track record for at least three consecutive years prior to IPO.
  • Strengthen Board structure by inducting independent directors and formalizing Board committees (Audit, Risk, NRC, etc.) as required.
  • Institutionalize enterprise-wide risk management, internal control, and regulatory compliance systems.
  • Lead engagement with investment bankers, auditors, legal advisors, and other capital market intermediaries.
  • Develop a compelling investor communication strategy and define clear IPO readiness milestones and timelines.
Strategic Leadership & 3X Growth Roadmap
  • Daily/weekly review of:
  • Throughput & bottlenecks
  • Downtime & OEE
  • Implement Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, TOC methodologies.
  • Deliver synergy-led cost savings and cross-plant harmonisation.
  • Oversee greenfield and brownfield projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Ensure operational scalability to support 3X growth.
  • Drive Industry 4.0, automation, and process digitization.
Financial Strategy, P&L & Value Creation
  • Full ownership of enterprise P&L.
  • Drive EBITDA expansion and profitability improvement.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and treasury.
  • Conduct ROI modelling for strategic investments.
  • Present financial performance including EBITDA, ROI, key variances, and underlying drivers.
  • Ensure disciplined capital allocation aligned to IPO valuation goals.
Procurement & Supply Chain Optimization
  • Define procurement strategy and budget alignment.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance reviews.
  • Strengthen strategic sourcing and vendor development.
  • Optimize supply chain network across multi-plant operations.
  • Drive digital transformation in procurement and inventory systems.
  • Oversee major capital investments and supplier negotiations.
Sales, Business Development & OEM Engagement
  • Lead strategic relationship building with OEM customers.
  • Conduct structured business review meetings.
  • Manage escalation resolution and innovation discussions.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts and secure major programs.
  • Expand domestic business footprint and strengthen order pipeline.
  • Align engineering and sales for customized solutions.
Business Transformation & Change Management
  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Drive process harmonisation across divisions.
  • Engage experts for cost optimization and process reengineering.
  • Manage change management and workforce transition programs.
  • Build a performance-driven and accountability-based culture.
  • Workforce planning aligned to growth roadmap.
  • Performance management & productivity enhancement.
  • Leadership development and succession planning.
  • Capability building across technical and managerial roles.
  • Cultural integration during expansion or restructuring.
Technology, Digital & Industry 4.0
  • Plan IT infrastructure upgrades and ERP strengthening.
  • Oversee automation and smart manufacturing investments.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and enterprise risk management.
  • Align digital investments with scalability and IPO readiness.
Governance, Reporting & Board Oversight
  • Share strategy and key business updates with Board.
  • Highlight progress, priorities, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Present risks, impacts, root causes, and mitigation plans.
  • Seek approval for critical strategic decisions and investments.
  • Ensure transparency, accountability, and performance tracking.
Risk, Advisory & External Relations
  • Ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Engage strategic advisors for transformation and scale initiatives.
  • Manage community relations and social responsibility initiatives across plant locations.
  • Support workforce redeployment and local development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
  • 20–30 years of experience in automotive components / manufacturing sector
