Cafe Nine Fifty in India seeks an experienced cafe operations manager to oversee day-to-day activities, ensure smooth service, and drive profitability.

You will lead staff across kitchen, service, and beverage, maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and ambience, and manage inventory, billing, and cost control. Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality management.
• Knowledge of POS systems (Petpooja, etc.), billing, daily sales reports, and basic cost management.
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Good understanding of cafe operations, food and beverage service, and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to manage staff, resolve operational challenges, and work under pressure.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to control costs and improve revenue.
• A proactive, responsible, and hands-on approach to managing the entire outlet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Manage, train, and supervise staff across kitchen, service, and beverage operations.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage consistency, hygiene, ambience, and customer service.
• Handle inventory management, vendor coordination, stock control, and wastage reduction.
• Monitor daily sales, operational expenses, billing, cash handling, and profitability.
• Ensure proper staff scheduling, discipline, and accountability across all departments.
• Address customer feedback and complaints professionally while maintaining the cafe's brand standards.
• Coordinate with the owner on business performance, operational improvements, and growth strategies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and other applicable regulations.
• Take ownership of the overall guest experience and maintain the cafe's reputation.
