Job summary

ALTEN India seeks a CAD/FE engineer to perform CAD studies, mesh sheet metal and powertrain components, and ensure safety-model build standards are met.

You will apply BOM and FE mechanisms in Safety models, prepare system connections and analytical assemblies, and manage interface data. Quick learner required to adapt to evolving processes.

Qualifications

• CAD study and issue resolution including intersections.
• Mesh sheet metal, plastic trims and powertrain components per safety standards.
• Apply BOM and FE mechanisms in safety models.
• Prepare system model connections and analytical assemblies.
• Assign contact interfaces and manage database entries.
• Perform de-penetration/intersections at vehicle level.
• Adapt quickly to the process and learn new methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD study (CAD missing, CAD issues, Intersections).
• Mesh sheet metal, plastic trims, and powertrain components per safety standards.

• Perform CAD study (CAD missing, CAD issues, Intersections)
• Candidate will be responsible for meshing Sheet metal, Plastic trims and Powertrain components as per Power train safety model build standards.
• Apply BOM and applicable FE mechanisms/functions in the Safety models.
• Prepare the system model connections (Spot, Seam, adhesives, joints, Bolts) and analytical assemblies.
• Able to assign contacts interfaces, database (node/section/part/element).
• Perform de-penetration/intersection at vehicle level.
• He / She should be a quick learner and adapt to the process quickly.
