Job summary

Actalent Services in Chennai is seeking an experienced CAE Modeler to create and update FE models using HyperMesh. You will perform geometry cleanup, meshing, and model quality checks for automotive crash simulations.

Responsibilities include developing safety/crash models, creating and managing connections such as spot welds, seam welds, bolts, rigid elements and adhesives, and ensuring models meet customer and project quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in HyperMesh.
• Experience in connections modelling (spot welds, bolts, adhesives, rigid connections).
• Strong knowledge of FEA and meshing concepts.
• Experience in automotive crash/safety modelling.
• Knowledge of LS-DYNA, Radioss, or similar crash solvers is a plus.
