Job summary

Mijas Consultants Jaipur in Mumbai seeks an experienced leader to own the Bill Payments and UPI business vertical, driving end-to-end product development, partnerships, compliance, and revenue growth in the digital payments space.

You will align with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations, manage merchant and fintech partnerships, ensure RBI/NPCI guidelines, and monitor KPIs, volumes and customer experience to optimize performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• 1015 years of experience in Digital Payments / UPI / BBPS / Fintech.
• Strong knowledge of UPI ecosystem, BBPS framework, NPCI guidelines.
• Proven track record in partnership management & business development.
• Experience in managing P&L, product lifecycle, and digital payment products.
• Excellent stakeholder management and regulatory compliance understanding.Analytical, strategic thinker with strong execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, roadmap, and execution for Bill Payments & UPI Payments through App.
• Drive engagement and stickiness for both these businesses via intuitive product interface and designs.
• Manage partnerships with merchants, billers, and fintech enablers.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, NPCI, and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor transactions, settlement processes, risk, and fraud management.
• Develop innovative digital payment solutions to enhance customer adoption.
• Own P&L responsibility and drive revenue growth from UPI & bill payment services.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
• Track and analyze KPIs, transaction volumes, and customer experience to optimize performance.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative professional to drive our Bill Payments and UPI business vertical. The role involves end-to-end ownership of product development, partnerships, compliance, and revenue growth in digital payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UPI, BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System), merchant acquiring and ecosystem partnerships within the Fintech/NBFC space.
