Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer for the Used Car segment in Maharashtra. The role focuses on building a consistent loan pipeline through direct sourcing, dealers, and DSAs while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will ensure timely documentation and compliance with RBI rules, and actively cross-sell banking products. The position is based in Nashik/West Maharashtra with typical field responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Commerce, Master of Business Administration degrees listed as acceptable qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent pipeline of applications from customers requiring finance for used cars through direct sourcing, dealers, DSAs, and market references.
• Manage relationships with customers by responding to requirements promptly and professionally.
• Ensure timely collection of documentation for loan proposals to support First Time Right processing.
• Generate and pass on leads for cross-sell products like Savings/Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag where applicable.
• Maintain 100% compliance with RBI policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Follow up with channels to keep relationships and ensure no Pending Disbursement Delays beyond 60 days.
• Understand ESFB Used Car Funding products and offer suitable schemes to meet customer needs.

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of Used cars through direct sourcing, Dealers, DSAs, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
