Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank is hiring for a Branch Relationship Officer - Used Car at Mysore. You will develop a consistent pipeline for used car financing, engage dealers and customers, and ensure timely documentation and compliance to RBI norms.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience in used car finance, OEM/dealer sales, and strong regional language proficiency. Proficiency in English and Excel is preferred; the job is based at Mysore branch with permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognised university is required.
• MBA or PG qualification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent pipeline of applications from customers requiring used car financing through direct sourcing, dealers, DSAs, market references, etc.
• Effectively manage relationships with customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure timely collection of documentation for loan proposals to support a First Time Right process.
• Generate and pass on leads for cross-sell products like savings accounts, current accounts, term deposits, FASTag where applicable.
• Ensure 100% compliance with Policies, Processes and RBI/regulatory requirements.

Purpose of the role:

• To ensure high quality delivery of relevant vehicle finance products & services to our clients in a fair and transparent manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of Used cars through direct sourcing, Dealers, DSAs, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies
• Closely follow up Channels and keep the relationship intact and ensure no PDD is pending beyond 60 days from his channels.
• Understand the products & policies of ESFB Used car Funding and offer the right scheme to the client and ensure customer’s requirement is met.

Desired Experience:

Number of years of experience (range): 3-6 years

• Type of companies/sector worked for: OEM / Dealer Sales / Banks/NBFCs, should have relevant experience New or Used cars finance .
• Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations: The applicant should have experience in Used Car, should have excellent contacts in the Cars finance market. Experience in understanding Process, Car types, Client segments, dynamics of used car market is critical for this role.
• Languages: Working knowledge of English and fluency in regional language of the state applying for. Ability to speak in other regional languages would be an added advantage.
• Computer/technical skills (if any): Should be comfortable in using Excel (ability to analyze reports sent from Head Office) and email (ability to communicate clearly in written English).
