Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank invites applications for a Branch Relationship Executive - Used Car at our Bengaluru South/KR Puram branch in Karnataka. The role focuses on sourcing used car finance applications, building dealer relationships, and cross-selling banking products.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of relevant experience, a Graduation degree (MBA/PG preferred), and fluency in English plus a regional language. Excel proficiency is expected, with a permanent, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; MBA/PG would be an added advantage.
• Experience in Used Car finance or related banking/NBFC sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent pipeline of used car finance applications from direct sourcing, dealers, DSAs, and references.
• Effectively manage relationships with customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure timely collection of loan documentation to follow the 'First Time Right' principle.
• Actively generate and pass on leads for cross-sell products like savings/current accounts, term deposits, FASTag where applicable.
• Ensure 100% compliance to RBI and other regulatory requirements.
• Follow up channels to maintain relationships and ensure no PDD beyond 60 days from channels.
• Understand ESFB Used Car Funding products and offer suitable schemes to meet customer needs.

Purpose of the role:

• To ensure high quality delivery of relevant vehicle finance products & services to our clients in a fair and transparent manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of Used cars through direct sourcing, Dealers, DSAs, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies
• Closely follow up Channels and keep the relationship intact and ensure no PDD is pending beyond 60 days from his channels.
• Understand the products & policies of ESFB Used car Funding and offer the right scheme to the client and ensure customer’s requirement is met.

Desired Experience:

Number of years of experience (range): 3-6 years

• Type of companies/sector worked for: OEM / Dealer Sales / Banks/NBFCs, should have relevant experience New or Used cars finance .
• Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations: The applicant should have experience in Used Car, should have excellent contacts in the Cars finance market. Experience in understanding Process, Car types, Client segments, dynamics of used car market is critical for this role.
• Languages: Working knowledge of English and fluency in regional language of the state applying for. Ability to speak in other regional languages would be an added advantage.
• Computer/technical skills (if any): Should be comfortable in using Excel (ability to analyze reports sent from Head Office) and email (ability to communicate clearly in written English).
