Job summary

Placenet Consultants in Kolkata seeks a Business Development Officer to drive school partnerships, obtain permissions for contests and activities, and lead local marketing with franchisees. You will present to parents, generate leads, and support growth initiatives across the city.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years of B2B marketing and business development experience in education, insurance, telecom, or banking, with a regular degree (B.Com/BBA/B.Sc) and MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Regular degree (B.Com/BBA/B.Sc) required with MBA preferred.
• 4–5 years of marketing and business development experience in education, insurance, telecom, or banking.
• Fluency in English and Bengali; Hindi a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain school permissions for contests and activities.
• Conduct Parent Presentations.
• Generate leads and support business growth initiatives.
• Support franchisees (approx. 10) in business growth and retention activities.
• Execute local marketing activities through franchisees.
• Collect marketing outstanding dues.
• Manage relationships with schools (approx. 40) and key stakeholders.
