Job summary

Schindler Group in Bangalore, India, is seeking a Business Development Manager - EI Sales to help grow the maintenance portfolio for elevators and escalators. You will analyze customers, coordinate offers, and ensure smooth contract execution.

The role requires at least two years in a commercial environment, knowledge of service contracts, and strong selling, CRM, time management, and communication skills. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Education - Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze customers to identify opportunities to expand Schindler's portfolio.
• Approach customers for sale or renewal of maintenance contracts.
• Coordinate, prepare, and negotiate offers and contracts per KG guidelines.
• Handover gained and recovered units to Assistant/Area Manager EI for a positive customer experience.
• Ensure timely execution of service conditions with EI team support and collection of outstanding dues.

Your Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze current, past and potential new customers to identify opportunities for Schindler to expand the Portfolio.
• Approach customer for sale and/or renewal of maintenance of Schindler elevators and escalators
• Coordinate, prepare and negotiate all offers and contracts consistent with KG commercial guidelines
• Coordinate the handover of gained and recovered units to the Asst./Area Manager – EI in order to provide a positive experience to the customer
• Ensure timely and smooth execution of service conditions with support from Branch EI Team and collection of outstanding dues.
