The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth for Women Leadership Circle across both B2B and B2C segments, with a strong focus on lead generation through digital marketing and relationship-building. This role will identify, develop, and convert opportunities with corporates, institutions, partners, and individual members, aligned with WLC’s mission of enabling and aiding. women in leadership.
Identify, develop, and manage opportunities across B2B (corporates, institutions, ecosystem partners) and B2C (individual women leaders interested in joining WLC membership).
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline from programs, social media platforms, events, partnerships, and bespoke offerings.
Conduct market research to identify new segments, and partnership opportunities relevant to WLC’s offerings.
Lead outreach to key decision-makers (HR, L&D, D&I heads, business leaders) to pitch WLC programs and partnerships.
Work closely with the marketing team to design and run digital campaigns (email, social media, performance marketing, webinars) for lead generation.
Define and track key metrics such as lead volume, conversion rates, cost per lead, and ROI of digital initiatives.
Optimize landing pages, lead forms, and funnels to improve conversion from enquiry to closure.
Use CRM and marketing tools to nurture leads through campaigns, follow-ups, and personalized communication.
Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate stakeholders, partners, and high-potential individual members.
Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and demos (online/offline) to showcase WLC offerings.
Negotiate proposals, pricing, and partnership terms within defined guidelines and close deals.
Represent WLC at external forums, events, and networking platforms to build visibility and generate interest.
Collaborate closely with Brand & Marketing, Member Relations and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery post-conversion.
Provide regular reports and dashboards on pipeline status, conversions, forecast, and key account updates to leadership.
Share on-ground insights to help shape offerings, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
