Job summary

Birla Carbon in Mumbai is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive regional growth by executing the zonal strategy and tapping local networks for new business opportunities.

You will collaborate with the Zonal Head to expand the client base among corporates, intermediaries and bankers, pursue cross-selling, and build a healthy sales pipeline that delivers sustainable revenue in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Assist Zonal Head in implementing the devised business strategy for the Zone and tap local network to achieve budgeted business volumes / revenue.
• Initiate cross-selling initiatives for generating additional revenues.
• Identify prospective business houses, corporates, intermediaries & bankers in the designated area and establish relationships to have a healthy pipeline and regular business.
• Use alternate products / cross-sell offerings to activate inactive customers and source new customers into the system.
