UniAthena in Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune, is seeking an Admissions Specialist to own inbound inquiries—calls, email, WhatsApp, chat, and web forms—and drive enrollment with timely follow-ups and clear closure.

Lead discovery conversations, present program offerings transparently, generate leads via LinkedIn and referrals, and collaborate with Admissions, IT, Data, and Academic teams to ensure a smooth onboarding journey.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 0-1 years of experience in Sales / Admissions / Business Development.
  • Prior experience in EdTech, Higher Education, or Academic Sales preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding enrollment targets.

Responsibilities

  • Own all inbound inquiries across calls, email, WhatsApp, chat, and web forms, ensuring timely response and consistent follow-through until enrollment or clear closure.
  • Engage prospects in structured discovery conversations to understand goals, background, readiness to enroll, and decision-making constraints.
  • Lead sales discussions with clarity and purpose, guiding prospects toward informed and timely enrollment decisions.
  • Present program offerings transparently and confidently, covering structure, duration, fees, certification value, learning outcomes, and expectations.
  • Connect learner needs with relevant program benefits, clearly explaining alignment with academic, professional, or career goals.
  • Address questions around pricing, workload, credibility, timelines, and outcomes with honesty and data.
  • Drive enrollments with clear next steps, timely follow-ups, and well-defined closure conversations.
  • Build and manage a strong enrollment funnel, ensuring leads are progressed, reviewed, or closed.
  • Maintain discipline in the pipeline by documenting interactions and tracking next actions.
  • Proactively generate leads through LinkedIn outreach, referrals, networks, and personal prospecting.
  • Follow up consistently to keep prospects engaged until enrollment, opt-out, or re-engagement.
  • Take ownership of enrollment targets, reviewing performance and adjusting outreach strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records with visibility into lead status and outcomes.
  • Identify early signs of drop-off and revive leads before aging out.
  • Adhere to ethical communication and responsible marketing practices across regions.

  • Share insights, concerns, and patterns observed in learner conversations with Marketing and internal teams to continuously improve messaging, targeting, and program positioning.
