Job summary

Prince And Umesh Constructions is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to identify and convert construction opportunities across India. The role involves sourcing project information, tracking industrial and institutional projects, and supporting the business team in converting opportunities into new projects.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Civil Construction BD, strong networking skills, and excellent English communication to engage with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Research and identify upcoming civil construction, industrial, infrastructure and institutional projects across India.
• Track expansion plans, new plants, facilities, warehouses, factories, and institutional buildings.
• Source opportunities through government, private and construction/project information portals.
• Prepare daily/weekly project opportunity reports for management/BD team.
• Arrange introductions/meetings with prospective clients, consultants, architects, PMCs and contractors; follow up until opportunities are converted, awarded or closed.

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development professional having:

• Strong knowledge of Indian construction & Infrastructure Market, project information sources, industrial CapEx/project announcements, construction opportunities and institutional projects.
• The candidate will be responsible for identifying upcoming construction opportunities, tracking new industrial and institutional projects, sourcing project information from online/ offline platforms, developing business leads, and supporting the business team in converting identified opportunities into new projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify upcoming civil construction, industrial, infrastructure and institutional projects across India.
• Track expansion plans, new plants, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, factories, commercial developments, institutional buildings and other large upcoming construction projects across India.
• The candidate should be able to source opportunities through various government, private and construction/project information portals.
• Prepare daily/weekly project opportunity reports for the management/business development team.
• Arrange initial introductions/meetings with prospective clients, consultants, architects, PMCs and contractors. Follow up on identified opportunities until they are converted, awarded or closed.

We are looking for a person who is:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Civil Construction Business Development
• Who is very active in social networking sites and have a zeal to convert the leads into business prospects.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to track Companies' expansion/CapEx plans in Industrial / Institutional sector.
