Job summary

Codingal, the global leader in online AI & coding education for kids and teens, is hiring a full-time Business Development Associate in Bengaluru for our Renewals team. Join a fast-paced EdTech startup backed by Y Combinator and trusted by millions of students.

You will follow up with prospects, engage leads via email, WhatsApp, SMS and calls, and aim to meet monthly sales targets in a high-performance environment. English fluency required; CS background preferred; in-person role only.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English communication and written skills is mandatory.
• Computer Science or technical background preferred, but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in Edtech B2C sales is preferred (min 6 months).
• Exceptional communicator and influencer who can deliver a sales pitch and maintain customer relationships.
• Result-driven with experience in a highly target-centric job.
• Learns product and services quickly (within 2 days).

• Multi-Channel Communication: Engage leads through email, WhatsApp, SMS, and calls to build trust and encourage enrollment.

• Performance Monitoring: Track metrics such as conversion rates and revenue per lead/sale.

We are looking for a full-time Business Development Associate in our Renewals team to join the passionate Codingal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow-up and Conversion: Intensively follow up with prospects and close sales within the sales cycle.
• Multi-Channel Communication: Engage leads through email, WhatsApp, SMS, and calls to build trust and encourage enrollment.
• Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed monthly sales goals in a high-performance, competitive environment.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics such as conversion rates, average revenue per lead, and average revenue per sale.
• Team Collaboration: Contribute to team success while achieving individual targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English communication and written skills is mandatory
• Computer Science or technical background preferred, but not mandatory
• Prior experience in Edtech B2C sales is preferred (min 6 months)
• Exceptional communicator and influencer who can deliver a sales pitch like a charm and maintain healthy customer relationships
• Result-driven with experience in an extremely target-centric job
• Self-learner with a high grasping ability and can learn about the product & services within 2 days

Education:

Bachelors in IT field is preferred but not mandatory

What we offer:

4L-6L fixed annual salary + 6 Lakhs of annual incentives (10L-12L of CTC depending on experience) + Night Shift Allowances upto 48,000 per annum (4,000 pm)
