SheThePeople is looking for someone who sits at an interesting intersection: editorial ideas, brands and business. This is not a conventional sales role.
We are looking for someone who can understand a strong editorial idea, see how a brand can meaningfully participate in it, turn that thinking into a sharp concept note or proposal, pitch it to a client, and ultimately convert the idea into business.
You should understand what makes brands tick, but also have a strong instinct for content, culture and audiences. You should have a pulse on women, Gen Z, emerging conversations and the ideas shaping the internet today.
You may have 1–2 years of experience in media, branded content, advertising, digital publishing, partnerships or business development. More importantly, you should be someone who can think editorially and sell commercially.
You should have impeccable written and spoken English, be confident drafting concept notes and proposals from scratch, and be comfortable presenting and pitching your own ideas to clients.
You should understand brands, have curiosity about culture and consumer behaviour, and know what conversations are resonating with women and Gen Z.
We value people who are proactive, progressive, persuasive and excited by the chase of creating and closing new business.
The role has a fixed + variable compensation structure, with the variable component linked to business and deal closures.
