Job summary

SkillLabs is seeking a proactive collections leader to manage vehicle finance collections across various loan portfolios in India. You will drive recovery, monitor delinquency, and coordinate with field staff, agency partners, and legal teams to optimize portfolio health.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee collection operations for vehicle finance portfolios across commercial, passenger, and two-wheeler loans.
• Ensure timely recovery of overdue accounts and achievement of branch collection targets.
• Monitor delinquency, bucket-wise performance, and portfolio quality to minimize NPAs and losses.
• Lead, train, and motivate collection executives, field staff, and agency partners to improve recovery performance.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies for soft, hard collections and repossessions.
• Conduct regular review meetings with the collection team and track daily recovery performance.
• Maintain relationships with customers and resolve repayment issues through negotiation and settlement discussions.
• Coordinate with legal teams, repossession agencies, and auction partners for high-risk account recovery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and collection processes.
• Analyze MIS reports and prepare action plans for delinquent accounts.
• Monitor collection agency performance and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Drive customer retention while maintaining collection efficiency and portfolio health.
• Support audit requirements and ensure proper documentation of collection activities.
• Work closely with sales, credit, and operations teams to improve overall portfolio performance.
