Job summary

Chola in India is seeking a seasoned Collections Lead to drive recovery across overdue, DPD, NPA, and write-off accounts. You will supervise field staff, monitor daily performance and coordinate with sales, credit, operations and legal teams to resolve complex cases.

The role requires adherence to RBI/NBFC collection policies and providing timely MIS reports. You will conduct field visits and take appropriate recovery actions as per policy, ensuring accurate updating of activities in the system.

Responsibilities

• Drive collection targets for overdue, DPD, NPA and write-off accounts.
• Lead, supervise and motivate collection officers/field executives.
• Monitor daily collection performance against assigned targets.
• Develop strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce delinquency.
• Track bucket-wise performance and identify high‑risk accounts.
• Conduct regular field visits and support the team in difficult/high‑value cases.
• Coordinate with sales, credit, operations and legal teams for resolution of collection issues.
• Ensure adherence to RBI/NBFC collection policies, customer service standards and compliance requirements.
• Prepare MIS and daily/weekly/monthly collection reports for management.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Take appropriate recovery/legal action as per company policy and applicable regulations.
• Ensure accurate updating of collection activities in the companys system.
